TTS Sports, a Miami-area company owned by CRS Enterprises, was developed to serve everyone from the novice to tournament-tough competitors.

TTS overstaffs its courts to ensure rewarding instruction for everyone. Players experience dramatic improvement through group and private instruction.

The staff of USPTA-certified tennis professionals has more than 75 years of combined teaching experience.

With the passion of totally committed coaches, the company's proven technique emphasizes the fundamentals, building gradually from a strong foundation up to the finer nuances of the game. Participants in the junior program range from beginners to tournament players.

The company manages several facilities in the Miami area. In addition to tennis instruction, TTS Sports offers personal training, group fitness programs, swimming lessons and various other services.

TTS Sports also offers racquet re-stringing, grip replacement, customized racquet balancing and discounts on tennis equipment.

Cary holds national advisory staff positions with HEAD for racquets, and with Fila for clothing and shoes.

History

TTS Sports was conceived and established in 1995 by Cary Sochin, a former ATP Tour tennis professional and successful fitness club owner.  Seeing a lack of professional service in ultra luxury high-rise buildings and the developing trend towards master-planned community private sports clubs, TTS developed a distinctive style of programming specifically for this market; essentially creating 5 star resort environments no matter the budget.  With an insistence on stellar customer service and an unmatched attention to detail the company has evolved to its current status as a full service leisure firm for the developer, resort / hotel, fitness club, condominium, and master planned community.

Although its programming is unmatched, TTS distinguishes itself from other spa and fitness consulting and management firms with a unique and proactive approach to client services.  As Cary Sochin, the company's founder, says, "By their very nature sports, fitness, and wellness are social activities, and it's up to us to create a proficient, calming, yet motivating environment where every guest feels at home and part of the scene.  Therefore, we strive to be an oasis not just for our clientele, but all who enter."  The comment is well reflected by the sustained success experienced by the TTS client roster.

Since its origin, TTS has become a multi-faceted operation providing needs assessment, conceptual development, feasibility studies, design consultation, budget planning, pre-opening, daily operations / management, creative services, and property management.  Our clients include hotels and resorts, spas, private golf, tennis and country clubs, fitness clubs, luxury hi-rise residential projects, master-planned community developments, and governmental sports complexes.  A TTS daily operation provides professional instruction and programming for adults and children in all sports, fitness/wellness, spa, tennis, and swimming; truly the most comprehensive amenity, spa, sports, and recreation programming available to resorts, hotels, and private clubs.

The inclusion of licensed property management services establishes TTS as the ideal conduit for the developer seeking to offer premium amenity services while maintaining budgetary parameters.  With the expressed purpose of expanding the company's concept to other locales, TTS Sports may soon become a household name.

C.D.V. Philosophy

C.D.V. stands for Control, Distance and Velocity. TTS Sports believes this is a natural and necessary progression in the learning curve. Our approach to shot development follows these basic principles:

  • You must first establish control - of your body, racquet, stroke technique, and ultimately the ball.
  • You then move on, using this established control, to regulate the distance of your body to the ball and how far the ball will travel for each shot selected.
  • Once these two skills are mastered you have the capacity to determine the needed velocity with which you strike the ball and impart to the ball, using your personal parameters of control and distance attained through practice.

Upon establishing a workable knowledge and understanding for these three primary requirements you will be able to create and use the necessary patterns that allow ultimately for success during competition.

Movement Training

TTS believes that movement training is of utmost importance. Our specialized program is separated from our conditioning program to emphasize this importance. Composed of sport-specific movements that simulate the patterns used while in game situations, this 'pattern-running' training is performed on court to create a superior learning environment. Our intent is to produce maximum efficiency in movement by eliminating unnecessary foot and arm actions, thus creating more time for shot making.

These exercises have been compiled from one of the most successful player development programs in the world. Henk Van Hulst and Alex Reijnders in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, have developed a litany of players with this system: Jacco Eltingh, Paul Haarhuis, Richard Krajicek, Jan Seimerink, Sjeng Schalken, and John Van Lottum to name a few. On a continuing schedule Alex, Jacco, and Paul turn up at TTS facilities to personally guide our players through this training regimen and help with player development.
